Welcome to the Family Resource Center: Managing Your Child's Condition Section

This section provides information that can be very useful in managing your child's condition over the long term, in four tables:

  • Table A below focuses on Parenting Skills and Managing Challenging Behaviors, including information on Positive Behavior Support, which can help your child with special needs and your entire family have a better quality of life
  • Table B below focuses on Assistive Technologies and other supports that can help your child learn, interact and perform activities of daily living more easily and effectively
  • Table C below focuses on Medical and Clinical Therapies for children with special health care needs
  • Table D below focuses on Respite services to allow your child with special needs, his or her primary caregivers, and the entire family a restorative break
